Latin America to The World - Fantoccini Design Challenge 2011 Guidelines

The Challenge

Create a signature garment design or a coordinated collection (up to 5 pieces) integrating environmental responsibility and luxury design sensibility, using textiles from Latin America.

The Awards:

Scholarships to Istituto Marangoni-The Fashion School-Milan-Paris-London:

High School Seniors & College Seniors: Diamond Prize – Three years of education at Istituto Marangoni - The Fashion School - in Milan, Paris or London (valued at $140,000 CDN)

Young Professionals: Emerald Prize - One year of Business Mentorship from Design Professionals in the Industry, including sponsorship for the Fashion Show at the Latin America to the World 2012 Event. (valued at $20,000 CDN)

High School Juniors: Ruby Prize – Triple City Summer Program – One week in each of Milan, Paris and London.( Valued at $10,000 CDN)

Scholarships are for the 2012-2013 academic year (and subsequent two years in the case of the Diamond Prize)

From all provinces except Quebec. International participants are eligible provided that this contest and/or their participation is not prohibited by law in their country of residence.
